Computerised Embroidery Service

Setup

To begin the embroidery process, simply provide us with your finished design or logo via email or USB stick in-store, on any graphics format such as pdf, psd, eps, jpg, png, tiff, ai, on either a PC or Mac platform. Our team will then assess and provide guidance on the set-up cost (a one-off fee) to digitize and convert your logo into a stitch format, allowing the embroidery machine to reproduce it onto garments with vibrant, color-fast polyester rayon threads - the industry standard for embroidery.

It's worth noting that due to the nature of embroidery, small to medium-sized outputs are preferable. This is because embroidery involves stitching thousands of stitches onto a garment, so the larger the design, the more stitches required, which can lead to heavy ruching and a higher cost per 1000 stitches.

We are happy to discuss your embroidery needs, and have many samples of work both current and past to assure you that you are in safe and experienced hands. So go ahead and send us your logo, and we’ll promptly provide you with the digitizing set-up cost.

Stitch

Once we've created the disc (which is essentially a computer file), there's no need to create another, even for resizing, color re-sequencing, or adding simple text or number changes. Additionally, we'll adjust the stitch type to suit different fabric types, ensuring that each design looks identical thanks to computerized embroidery machines.

When it comes to positioning on the garment, there are various options, including front chest, sleeves, neckline, back shoulders, and hem. For trousers, it's usually on the top of the leg or where there's access on the garment for the embroidery hoop. Some garments even come with access panels built-in specifically for the embroidery process.

It's important to note that certain fabrics aren't suitable for this process, including silk or chiffon, lycra, lace netting, and tulle on the thin end of the spectrum, and leather or any material that's too thick and heavy for the needle to penetrate.

We're happy to supply garments at an additional cost, or you can bring in your own - either way, we're always here to help.

Repeat

We understand the value of your design file, and we ensure to keep it safe and backed up on our file server along with other design files we hold. This makes it easier for you to re-order in the future as we can quickly reproduce your previous order details.

If you have a stitch file made by another company, we can still assist you. Simply send us the .DST machine format file, and we can view the design, determine its dimensions and total stitch count, and provide you with the stitching cost.

We strive to have a quick turnaround time for orders, which is usually within a week, and in some cases, up to two weeks depending on our workflow. We will do our best to meet any reasonable deadline.

Monograms

We offer a variety of ready-made embroidery fonts for simple text or name embroidery, and there is no additional set-up cost for this service. However, we do not typically save monogram files unless requested to do so in case of future orders.
